Welcome to Day 6 of The Cycle, a 10-day email adventure.
I’m popping into your inbox every day for the next 10 days to talk to you about the building block numbers of 1-9, as well as our collective yearly cycle number, 10.
For paid pals, I’ll also be sending out my second diary entry on tonight for Days 4-6!
As I shared in the introduction, we are going to embody number energies, and feel our way through a cycle. These words—embody, feel through—are intentional choices, hand delivered by the numbers, themselves. They want to be experienced.
If that is not something you can give to yourself and these numbers right now, that is okay! This is evergreen information. Plus, part of the initial creative download of this series was to turn it into a digital zine, so it will be there for you when you’re more available and ready.
But if you want to get to this now, or you need a little more convincing… I have chosen these dates with intention!
Today is June 26, 2026, which is a numerological 24/6 day.
Taking time out of our day to touch in with 6 energy will then allow us to go out and approach the day with new knowledge and awareness. Perhaps we’ll see opportunities and tensions we would not have before attributed to being in a 6 day. It's this awareness that can help us begin to observe new patterns, as well as make intentional changes.
This takes a combination of awareness and action. We have to have both clarity and courage to get what we want, but also what we need. To have the experiences we need to have in order to be living, breathing, blinking, loving, human beings on this planet, who are unafraid, in 2026, to still claim some kind of life.
It’s with this sense of survival and commitment to care that we meet the number six.
THANK YOU FOR READING COMMON DENOMINATORS
I want to grow this space, so if you’re liking what you’re reading, please consider sharing it with a friend or five! I’m also tending to this goal through 1-on-1 numerology readings, new shop offerings, and other upcoming goodies.
I’m also going to be sending updates of my own process to my paid pals, as well as starting a thread in The Commons for those who wish to share. So, if you do want to engage in the present-tense, you’re welcomed to upgrade your subscription here to read and join!

SIX (6)
Good news—we’re over the midway mark and into the second section of the cycle.
No matter which flavor of five energy shows up to greet you, it can be exhausting!
The number six is both the delicious ache of your feet after a long night of dancing, and the physical therapy sessions after a freak accident that throws out your back. It is conscious about what it takes to continue. It’s aftermath and recovery, and sometimes it feels worse before it gets better.
Six says, I’m sorry for what’s happened to you, and for all of work it will take to heal.
It is also the unfurling bloom of roses in spring, and the composted soil that helps them to grow big and beautiful. It is focused on furthering the plot. It’s the process of adaptation and rejuvenation, and sometimes that means taking a moment to catch one’s breath and bearings.
Six says, Woah, Nelly! Have you stopped today to smell the roses?
We may have lost something, but we still have so much more to gain.
One is being.
Two is feeling.
Three is expressing.
Four is editing.
Five is enjoying.
Six is recouping.
Rest is an integral part of any creative process or worldly effort.
Elite athletes need maintenance days to let their muscles recover. Creatives need off days to let their brains wander. Parents need villages to watch over the children while they catch some shut eye. Despite what late stage capitalism tries to sell us, not everything is meant to run forever without breaks or stoppages. Not everything is meant to last forever either.
Six does not shy away from its precarious nature, but rather indulges in the process of life, death, and more life. It knows that to align with balance means to accept the ebbs and the flows, and to trust that something will sprout in the silence of that which seems fallow.
By shifting attention to needs over wants, six energy ensures we stay alive, which is the prerequisite for everything else.
PROMPT: What does unplugging feel like for you? What about filling your cup? Are they the same, or different? What are the small ways in which you rest and recover? In what ways do you avoid giving yourself what you need and why?
Six is love and beauty and art. It knows that to keep going we must have a reason to live, and it turns its expanding mind towards all of the ways in which life-force energy shows up.
This takes a foolishness we haven’t felt in a while. It is difficult work to stay soft in an exploitative world, and to stay connected enough to your heart to engage with the collective imagination. To open yourself up to seeing and being seen, two vulnerable acts that lie at the core of connection. This takes tenacity and whimsy.
Six is also care and family and community. It not naive, but it is full of grace, and it generously offers that understanding and absolution to self and others.
We are a relational species, meaning both harm and healing happen in relationship to others. Forgiveness is a human construct, but one that can prove powerful. There is no turning back, there is only moving forward, and the choice lies in whether or not we journey together or apart. There’s also a very fine line between differentiation and enmeshment. Boundaries are what allow us to create enough space between ourselves and our beloveds to allow for more balance and ease.
Six begs us to imagine more, while also understanding why it might take proper time and treatment to pull through.
PRACTICAL MAGIC: Do you have any magical practices you do daily? Card pulls or lighting candles? Spells you wear or workings you tend to? Do you communicate with any deities or sit at your altar? If not, do you want daily practices? The point isn’t to shame ourselves or even identify lack, but rather to invite the craft into more of our day-to-days, so that it becomes a living, breathing source of support.
One asked us to be available. Two filled that space with feelings. Three wants us to attempt to communicate just what the fuck is going on. Four tightens our screws until we can stand on our own. Five asks us to lighten up enough to get through. Six reminds us there must be a balance of give and take.
Six is generative energy. It wants to repair and mend things, in order to grow back better. Stronger, and also more malleable. Six wants us to be more sure of ourselves, not due to entitlement, but because of all we’ve been endured.
Six is the experience of recouping.
We're not doing yet…
Today is for recouping.
Six (6) through the Senses
Six (6) looks like taking a nap in the middle of the day, the deep greens and reds of bloodstone, reading poetry on a picnic blanket in the middle of the park, the yellow pages, returning to a favorite piece of media from your childhood, a team of drivers delivering boxes of fresh produce to families in need
Six (6) smells like clean linens, Cucumber Melon by Bath and Body Works, honeysuckle, Clorox wipes, orange blossoms, a swimming pool ripe with chlorine, Love Spell by Victoria’s Secret
Six (6) tastes like lemon bars straight out of the refrigerator, a tomato pie baked by a beloved, a cup of freshly squeezed juice, cinnamon gum, beets
Six (6) feels like slipping into clean sheets after you’ve changed the bedding, tracing freckles on a lover’s skin, the steady drip of the coffee machine brewing, a splitting headache, getting high on your own supply
Six (6) sounds like a white noise maker, a lullaby sung in a hushed tone, waves lapping at the shores of the lake, the whir of a sewing machine, a podcast on a topic of interest, a screaming match between lovers in a foreign language
Six (6) asks questions like Where are the lines between yourself and others? What is your relationship to the concepts of obligation and responsibility? Do you often take on more than your fair share? How can you offload 6% to someone else?
CREATIVE CYCLING: This is the day you will return to the work. This is not the day you finish. A creative experiment to try - When you come back to your project, pretend as if you were hired as a freelancer to finish what someone else started. Imagine you’re picking up the artistic baton, and familiarizing yourself with work that already has everything it needs to be successful. Besides you, of course, and all you’ll bring as it inches closer to completion. How does this shift your relationship to the vision and the process?
Six (6) on the Scale
Six (6) Day: Volunteer at a community organization or effort, such as a food bank, senior center, or garden.
Six (6) Week: Set aside time each day for self-care, whether it’s practical like eating greens or paying bills, or whimsical like bubble baths and little treats.
Six (6) Month: Observe your natural rhythms over the course of the month, noticing when your energy ebbs and flows, and how your routines do or do not support you.
Six (6) Year: Consider your boundaries with family, friends, coworkers, etc., especially in regards to the exchange of energy and effort. If you need to set new ones, give grace to yourself and others as you navigate this transition.
PROMPT: You’ve learned a lot in the last six days! Your mind must be swimming with new information. Use today as a catch-up day if you missed any, or an opportunity to revisit pieces of the work you want to devote more time and thought to. Not everything has to be a rush to something new. You have time to review.
Until tomorrow, just recoup.
I’d love to hear from you as we go, especially if you have ideas to make our journey even juicier! And if you enjoy what you’re reading, please share it with a friend or five. I’m also going to be sharing excerpts on my Instagram, @beescolnick. Engagement and shares are appreciated there too, but I understand it’s not a platform for everyone. (I’m doing an experiment of my own right now and it’s been telling.)
xx bee
