Welcome to Day 8 of The Cycle, a 10-day email adventure.
I’m popping into your inbox every day for the next 10 days to talk to you about the building block numbers of 1-9, as well as our collective yearly cycle number, 10.
At this point, you know the drill (and if you’re just joining us, hi, welcome, read the introduction or a previous post), so let’s get into it:
Today is June 28, 2026, which is a numerological 26/8 day.
Taking time out of our day to touch in with 8 energy will then allow us to go out and approach the day with new knowledge and awareness. Perhaps we’ll see opportunities and tensions we would not have before attributed to being in a 8 day. It's this awareness that can help us begin to observe new patterns, as well as make intentional changes.
This takes a combination of awareness and action. We have to have both clarity and courage to get what we want, but also what we need. To have the experiences we need to have in order to be living, breathing, blinking, loving, human beings on this planet, who are unafraid, in 2026, to still claim some kind of life.
It’s with this deep devotion and astronomical abundance that we meet the number eight.
THANK YOU FOR READING COMMON DENOMINATORS
I want to grow this space, so if you’re liking what you’re reading, please consider sharing it with a friend or five! I’m also tending to this goal through 1-on-1 numerology readings, new shop offerings, and other upcoming goodies.
I’m also going to be sending updates of my own process to my paid pals, as well as starting a thread in The Commons for those who wish to share. So, if you do want to engage in the present-tense, you’re welcomed to upgrade your subscription here to read and join!

EIGHT (8)
Holy fuck, can you believe it?
We are in the penultimate number of the cycle.
We’re done waiting, and now our focus is on taking action without losing steam, and protecting our reserves (energetic, physical, financial, and otherwise) so we can ultimately finish what we started. Eight represents a moment of movement, and of evolution through momentum. Everything starts to picks up speed, and the ball rolls down the hill.
Eight energy asks us to put forth our best effort. The good news is this is where co-creation and collaborations start to pay off. We’re part of a big, vast universe of infinite resources, so as we get to work, and lose ourselves in the pleasure of the process, help arrives! Eight encourages us to simply say, Thank you! What a miracle!
The number eight is the moment we take flight, and the first opportunity to enjoy, if not the early fruits of our labors, then enough of our current circumstances to get us to the finish line.
One is being.
Two is feeling.
Three is expressing.
Four is editing.
Five is enjoying.
Six is recouping.
Seven is probing.
Eight is executing.
Eight is an emotional number. Our wants have now deepened into desires. Eight is devotional energy. This is the point in the process where we finally start to say, Oh, right, this is why I've been doing this. This is why I love this. This is why I show up day after day, hour after hour, minute after minute, to put one foot in front of the other.
Eight also teaches us to accept and honor our capacity. This is where the chronic nature of the infinity symbol meets the temporal realities of living in an earthly body. If eight energy is unlimited, then it is also the incredibly painful experience of wanting to take action, but not being able to due to limitations of physical and/or mental health. The number eight knows hardship, struggle and strife, and yet calls for embodiment.
Eight says, You have survived all of your worst days and you will make it through this, too.
PROMPT: How do you feel about the concept of success? Where does it land in your body? Who taught you what it means? Do you need a new or updated definition?
Eight is God. It is a very sensitive, vulnerable energy. It can be embarrassing to believe in and be passionate about something. It opens one up to mockery and judgment, which can be scary and even dangerous. Eight energy also rules confidence, insecurity, and also star quality. It has a certain je ne sais quoi. It fires on all cylinders, driven by a deep love of the game, and the sense of being in the right place at the right time.
Eight is the unconscious and the soul. It is the taboo and the controversial. It's deep wells, which are below and hidden. Eight is power and pleasure, which have intense shadow aspects. While we are enjoying the ride, eight energy asks for us to not lose ourselves so much to pleasure that we act against ourselves.
If eight is empowerment, then it's also self-betrayal.
If eight is God, then it's also the Devil.
As Denzel Washington famously told Will Smith, “When you're at your highest, that's when the Devil is gonna come for you.” Meaning, when we feel like we’re on top of the world, we need to have the most awareness and be working all of our tools. There is a way to enjoy the ride without being an asshole, and there is a way to love, champion, and celebrate ourselves without causing harm to others.
PRACTICAL MAGIC: Today, have a cup of something delicious with your demons. Invite in all the little nasties that live within you, and all of your worst thoughts and judgments, and whatever else you can’t believe is a part of you but can’t seem to banish, and ask them to pull up a chair. Be a good host and treat them well and perhaps they won’t run amuck!
One asked us to be available. Two filled that space with feelings. Three wants us to attempt to communicate just what the fuck is going on. Four tightens our screws until we can stand on our own. Five asks us to lighten up enough to get through. Six reminds us there must be a balance of give and take. Seven puts us back in the process, but doesn’t promise it’ll be comfortable. Eight helps us achieve long-awaited lift-off.
Eight sinks us deep into our bodies and our senses of agency and action. This ensures we are riding the highs and lows as the version of ourselves we wish to be, keeping our side of the street clean, staying focused on what we can control, putting our best foot forward, making a joyful effort, and being delighted when the miracles of universal co-creation start showing up in the form of abundance.
Eight is the experience of executing.
We are absolutely doing today. Balls to the wall, some might say.
Today is for executing.
Eight (8) through the Senses
Eight (8) looks like clocking off, rivers of gold running through kintsugi pottery, staying up until the wee hours of the morning because you can’t stop creating, sleuthing on the internet for details about a new crush, the illuminated dome of a planetarium, the moon in the sky in the middle of the day, the Nike swoop
Eight (8) smells like gardenias, vanilla bean, bacon in the oven, pencil shavings, AXE body spray, bleach
Eight (8) tastes like chocolate-covered strawberries and whipped cream, dinner at a steakhouse with the whole shebang (wine, appetizers, sides, and dessert), bodily fluids, blackberry jam on a flaky biscuit
Eight (8) feels like the hot blast of dry desert air, silk pajamas against smooth skin, a toe-curling orgasm, a sneeze that takes you by surprise, winning an award in front of all of your friends and family, going under anesthesia, seeing God
Eight (8) sounds like a guttural scream, the whir of the microwave, the rev of an engine, a concert choir, an organ at the end of a wedding ceremony
Eight (8) asks questions like What does empowerment feel like in your body? In what ways do you deny yourself pleasure? What keeps you afraid of intimacy? How can you release even 8% of that fear in order to see and be seen?
CREATIVE CYCLING: This is the day you go go go goooooo. This is almost the day you finish, and you might even see the finish line. Don’t get overwhelmed and don’t get sloppy. There’s a great deal of energy at your disposal and wind at your back. Let yourself find pleasure in the process and know that you are so close to being done! Ride that wave!
Eight (8) on the Scale
Eight (8) Day: Do something pleasurable and allow yourself to sink into the moment.
Eight (8) Week: Assess your to-do list and try to use this energetic boost to get through as much as possible.
Eight (8) Month: Pick a taboo (to you) topic and engage with it every day for all 28-31 days, respectively, a la exposure therapy.
Eight (8) Year: Set and keep financial goals, even if they just focus on learning more about investing and/or accounting. You don’t have to track every penny, or even save more than you spend—your goals are personal! But do your best to achieve them, it’ll feel so good.
PROMPT: Eight rules agency, so it also oversees the concept of influence and enforcement. Who’s opinion do you value? Who’s rule do you follow? We are never going to be free from external forces, and they will always impact our lives. Still, we can take back our power and permission ourselves to go our own way. (Don’t forget: ACAB includes the cop in your head!)
Until tomorrow, just execute.
I’d love to hear from you as we go, especially if you have ideas to make our journey even juicier! And if you enjoy what you’re reading, please share it with a friend or five. I’m also going to be sharing excerpts on my Instagram, @beescolnick. Engagement and shares are appreciated there too, but I understand it’s not a platform for everyone. (I’m doing an experiment of my own right now and it’s been telling.)
xx bee
