SEPTEMBER 2026: A LITTLE BIT OF AGENCY
September is the ninth month of the year, so in a 10/1 year, we’re looking at a 19/10/1 overall month.
In Call Your Coven’s latest episode, “September 2026: A Little Bit of Agency,” I share about September’s ruling numbers 9 and 10/1, and how 9 rules wisdom—particularly wisdom that has been accumulated and gained through life experiences.
September will likely have you combing through the past ten years with a bit of a fine-toothed comb—not so you can berate yourself for things you didn’t accomplish or change, or even indulge too much in your good ole days, should you find them, but rather so you can gain a few key takeaways to take with you into the next cycle.

Here’s the really good news though: 9 is the elders and the stories.
We’re in a 1 month in a 1 year, so I would be lying to you if I said that the individual doesn’t exist. You are a unique, special flower. There has never been a mass of atoms arranged quite like you, babe. It’s true. And also, chances are stunningly good that no matter where in life you are, someone, somewhere, has been in a similar place before, and likely has their own wisdom to share.
ASK FOR HELP is more of a 6 directive.
LISTEN TO THOSE WHO’VE BEEN THERE BEFORE is a 9 imperative.
When you find yourself needing information, guidance, advice, support, hand-holding, or the like, in September, find someone who has lived to tell the tale of what you’re going through—or as close to it as possible, or a thousand someones, don’t take any excuse to not to—and see what they have to say.
We are not alone in this uncertain place.
Wherever and whoever you are, whatever you are going through, you are not alone.
That’s not just September’s invite, it’s its promise.

PRACTICAL ADVICE
Have a conversation with an elder, read a memoir or a biography, watch a documentary on a particular figure, or otherwise engage with their thoughts, their ways of processing, and the ways in which they make meaning! Hang out with their art. Speak their words aloud.
