OCTOBER 2026: MOVE TRUE
October is the 10th month of the year, so in a 10/1 year, we’re looking at a 10/10/20/2 overall month!!!!
In Call Your Coven’s latest episode, “October 2026: Move True,” I share about October’s ruling numbers 10/1, and 20/2, and how I’d like to approach this month from a place of paradox.
For the last few months, I’ve been saying that October is going to bring us into our new lives. To help give us some clues as to sturdier energies, consistent experiences, and touchstones, I looked back at the two October forecasts I’ve written for for Call Your Coven—2024 and 2025—to glean some wisdom about The Wheel month.
Come back to these when you need an anchor, a reminder, or a grounding practice.
2024: Remember that each step is valuable. We don’t hop from 1 to 9 anymore than we hop from 9 to 1. This month, focus on figuring out one thing you can do this month, today, right now, that will serve the bigger picture of your life.
2025: Every year, October brings about the completion of one full cycle of personal monthly numbers. Whatever monthly number you were working with in January, the first month of the year, is mirrored here in October. It can be really helpful to see where are you in your own cycle, and how the energies can inform each other as the Wheel spins again.
A quick refresh on how to find your personal monthly number: First, you have to know your Yearly Cycle number, which is the day and month of birth added to the current year. For example, I would add my birthday of July 7 as 7+7+2+0+2+6 = 24, 2+4 = 6. Now, to find personal monthly numbers, we add our yearly cycle number to the numeral of the month. For October, I would add 6+10 = 16, 1+6 = 7.
Sit with the concept of “your new life,” especially if it does not seem obvious to you. And if you are very aware of the new life you’re stepping into, sit with the fullness of this experience. Make a list of all of the things you’re excited about, all the things that scare the ever-living fuck out of you, all of the things you’re avoiding, and all the treats you could get yourself when you confront something.
And most importantly, this month, in your new life, move true.

PRACTICAL ADVICE
Be here now. Figure out where you are right here, right now through personal reflection and numerological map-making. Calculate monthly numbers and check in with January 2026 for some interesting clues or cycles. Remember that every step is valuable, and things take time. It might be slower, faster, harder, more tender, or different in another way than you were expecting. Keep your hands busy, drop into your heart every day, and be good to yourself and those around you.
