AUGUST 2026: JOYFUL ENDINGS
August is the eighth month of the year, so in a 10/1 year, we’re looking at a 18/9 overall month.
In Call Your Coven’s latest episode, “August 2026: Joyful Endings,” I share about August’s ruling numbers 8 and 9, and how this is a month to bring things to a contented close.
How often do we find ourselves in a place where we know something is over, but we hold onto it because we’re scared to let it go, or think we won’t get another opportunity, or it feels safe and comfortable, the list goes on?
And then what happens?
We either drag it out until it explodes in a fiery ball of hot mess, or someone or something else decides for us, or we suffer greatly until we finally rip the bandage off and realize we should’ve done it a hell of a lot sooner.
Eight rules excavations, and nine rules wisdom practices, so this could be quite a generative month should you choose to engage with it, and yourself.
We can do hard things.
We’re in the hottest, wettest, most tender bits of summer here in the Northern Hemisphere.

PRACTICAL ADVICE
Give yourself the pep talk. Fill up your own cup. Then, do unto others. Give a compliment. Encourage or celebrate someone for a job well done. Pour into another. Wrap things up with pleasure. Get things off your plate. Open yourself up to the possibilities of what could be. Look at the things you’re avoiding. Offer your brain evidence of the truth when it acts up.
